I made this unique cyclist after a meet & greet I had with Katie Compton in 2020 in Hoogerheide. She is a 15 times USA Xcross champion. This cyclist contains some cool details, like the national champion jersey colors, the muddy soil and legs, number 15 on the back side of the jersey.
In 2021 I had another meet & greet with Katie. I made this artwork as a part of my Upcycle our World cyclingart project. This means that I gave her my artwork and she gave me her old USA national champion skinsuit to add to my collection. So now one of my artworks has a special place in her house in the USA. It’s my goal to be inspired to create unique artworks that will be located in countries in the World i visited in my life.
